New Compilation Album
Recently I was selected to have my new single, ‘Electrix’ from the self titled album ‘Electrix’ included in a new trance album entitled: ‘DC Electronica Compilation Vol. 1, ‘ By DC Networks in Italy, due for release 1.8.2010 – its a great opportunity!
The album features 10 artists from around the globe with only 10 tracks, all electronic and with a trance feel. So my contribution is a good one.
You can listen to the track on MySpace and see what was selected!:

Publishing offer in the UK
I’ve been invited to submit articles to the “Journal of Science & Technology” – in the UK. They have asked for a series of papers to be prepared ready for publishing, after reading my physics – Astronomy and Astrophysics blog.
I’ve submitted the first paper which is simply an interview with Professor Lawrence Krauss, and part of a writing project entitled: “10 Vital Question to 10 Notable Physicists”. That article has gone to press already and two more a scheduled and they are: “Australian Telescopes and Tracking Stations – a historical retrospective” and “The History of the Validation of General Relativity”. It an interesting writing project and one I am looking forward to seeing in print.

Miss Transsexual crowned
- Tuesday, 9 February 2010
Chelsey Mikimoto, a transgender showgirl from Melbourne, was crowned Miss Transsexual Australia 2010 in the country’s first-ever beauty pageant for transsexuals and transgenders, held at Melbourne’s Bar 362 last week.
Mikimoto, who cites Australian transsexual actor, model and dancer Estelle Asmodelle as her role model, said she was not trying to be spokesperson for the transgender community, but to be seen as a happy human being.
Other runner-up prizes were awarded to Thai international student Jessie Kraus (second runner-up), Malaysian-born transsexual performer Aneeta Mooi (third runner-up) and engineer Alexandra Melati (fourth runner-up).

ELECTRONIC MISCHIEF album review
ELECTRONIC MISCHIEF – the album review by Brenden Sponge is now online at EvilSponge.com – see this link:
http://www.evilsponge.org/albums/Asmodelle__ElectronicMischief.htm
All is all its a pretty good review – and clearly Brenden has understood without coaxing that this album is indeed an electronic music tribute album to all my favourite electronic artists:
“Those might be the standout tracks, but there is a lot to like here. Electronic Mischief is an enjoyable collection of mellow, minimal electronica. Asmodelle is not breaking any new boundaries here, and yet her work is delightfully outside the ever changing mainstream of electronic – no fractured, stuttering, dubstep beats here! All the same, this is a rather enjoyable album. If, like me, you enjoyed the electronica of the 1990s, then Electronic Mischief is an album to check out.”
Read the full review its not too bad.

Australian publishers – a disappointment
Two US publishers are interested in the book – but the issue there is – it will be marketing to a US market – where are all the business minded Australian publishers.
It is still early days with these new publishers but it looks promising.
Many seem to be interested in Sex Business more than Anaesthetic Dream – which is very strange – perhaps it’s the title.
The publishing world in this economic time, especially within Australia, is one of complete apathy and short-sightedness.
