IMDB Listing for Asmodelle

Finally years after it was released at the Asian and Japanese cinema – my first film has managed to provide me with an IMDB listing:

ESTELLE ON IMDB

This is great – but my two others films have not as yet been listed – so I am resolved to forget the past projects and focus on the two films I have planned for the future. These are also discussed on this blog.

Film production vs Book publishing

For some time now I had been working on my screenplays; THE EDGE OF FEAR (©Copyright 2005 Estelle Asmodelle) and PLEASURE GIRL (©Copyright 2004 Estelle Asmodelle) and pretty much had PG ready for pre-production. I had met with Doug Atkin (Screen editor) and also another editor with whom I wasn’t real happy with, through the AWG (Australian Writers Guild), of which I am an associate member. I had even talked with and also met with Mike Wilcox (producer of some well known Australian features, see his bio on IMDB).

Yet in truth I felt it really cam down to, letting the project go to a production company, and be merely attached as a writer or produce it myself, in order to place myself in the lead roles, which is why I wrote them in the first place. The dilemma was really a question of money where would the money come form? That is still a mystery.

So now I have focused on completing my auto-biographical novel Anaesthetic Dream in the hope that when it is published, the exposure would enable me to attract production funding for the two films. Life is strange, I am always riding the wrong horse at the wrong time.

If only I could clone myself, then we could all play polo!
